Su amor por el deporte y las pesas es innegable, pues es evidente a través de sus publicaciones en la red social Instagram, en la que tiene más de 317 mil seguidores de todo el mundo, que disfrutan de sus fotografías en el gimnasio y en su vida cotidiana, retomó Distractify.

Sin embargo, son muchos otros los que la critican duramente por la forma en que su cuerpo ha cambiado con el entrenamiento de pesas, ya que sus músculos se ven mucho más definidos y muchos la catalogan de ‘masculina’.

Tras recibir cientos de comentarios ofensivos que resaltaban lo malo de su cuerpo y otros que pedían que dejara de hacer tanto ejercicio, decidió publicar un mensaje a todos sus seguidores de Instagram.

He oído de todo. Nunca entré en el gimnasio por lo que la gente decía sobre lo que debería/aspiro/debo ser. Fui allí para llegar fuerte, para estar activa, estar sana a sudar, sentirme mejor y sentirme YO”, dijo.

También dijo que con el tiempo se ha tenido que acostumbrar a los comentarios negativos y críticas, ya que a diario es atacada por sus seguidores y algunas personas que la rodean.

Post my Arm and Ab sesh this morning before heading for shoot. Y'all saw my arm picture on snapchat, was saving the ab picture for Insta to add a few words for y'all to consider. It's amazing what you can achieve once you quieten your mind and really focus on what you brings you Joy. I don't train and lift purely for vanity purposes. I lift because it makes me stronger everyday- not just physically. there's something about weight holding you down and having to push and pull against it, against cold hard iron that couldn't give another fuck that is just so satisfying – day in and day out, the iron can break you or mould you. It's literally upto you, your mind, your body, your choice. I lift till I literally feel uplifted. It's my therapy. It helps me to out train bad ideology and beliefs out of my mind. it helps me see crystal clear, it redefines my purpose, it obliterates me and recreates me into a better version of myself every single day.
