El portal Northern Lights Centre asegura que este destello de colores brillantes es el resultado de una colisión que se genera cuando pequeñas partículas eléctricas del sol ingresan a la atmósfera de la tierra.
La ‘National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’ había anticipado una tormenta geomagnética que iluminaría la oscura noche en las localidades mencionadas anteriormente, siendo la oportunidad perfecta para que fotógrafos y amantes de la naturaleza captaran las mejores imágenes.
