La encargada de guiar a los príncipes durante el recorrido fue la actriz británica Daisy Ridley, quien interpretará a la heroína Rey, en la nueva cinta.

William y Harry tuvieron la oportunidad de conocer al actor Mark Hamil, que hace el papel de Luke Skywalker, así como a Chewbacca y el robot BB-8.

En la visita, los príncipes probaron los sables de luz, se subieron a una de las naves que se usan en la película y además abrazaron a Chewbacca.

Su visita según indica El Universal, esta relacionada con la idea de saludar a los británicos que trabajan en la producción desde la primera película en 1970 y reconocer su aporte.

La octava entrega de la saga de ciencia ficción se estrenará en el 2017.
